Equipment-focused millwright capabilities
CNC's service family includes:
- mechanical work involving overhead cranes, with inspection, electrical and regulated responsibilities defined separately;
- work involving conveyors and bucket elevators;
- laser shaft alignment as an established millwright capability; and
- mechanical work involving rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, crushers and gears.
The exact activity may be part of installation, planned maintenance, a major mechanical intervention or an outage. CNC does not treat an equipment name as a complete scope: the RFQ must state what work is expected, which technical authority supplies tolerances or procedures, and how the machine will be accepted for handback.
Coordination in operating plants
Millwright work often depends on lifting, temporary access, guarding, foundations, connected services and surrounding steel. CNC can review related structural-steel and industrial-piping interfaces within the same project. Its boilermaking team also develops lifting plans for heavy-equipment handling when that capability forms part of the approved scope.
For larger outages, the millwright package can be integrated into CNC's plant-shutdown services. The company's legacy materials document planned shutdowns involving workforces of 50 to 500 people, supervised by experienced superintendents.

Documented project experience
The public Greenfield Ethanol portfolio identifies mechanical-equipment installation that included conveyors and a bucket elevator. Port-Cartier project materials identify repair and dismantling of a stacker-reclaimer. The Suncor portfolio documents mechanical assembly associated with the D-4300 reactor. These examples demonstrate work around substantial industrial equipment; any client names, values, images or detailed claims still require final reuse approval.
Build a useful millwright RFQ
Provide the equipment tag, manufacturer and model, drawings, requested work, known condition, component weights, access and desired work window. Include OEM procedures, alignment tolerances, isolation requirements, foundation or steel interfaces and the owner's acceptance criteria when available.
