Piping capabilities organized by work package
CNC’s industrial piping services include:
- process piping installation for industrial systems;
- hydrostatic testing and documented pneumatic testing when specified and approved;
- installation of pipe supports and tubing; and
- coordinated pipe fabrication and installation, with fabrication and specialist treatments assigned to qualified project partners rather than represented as CNC self-performed work.
CNC’s documented model uses subcontractors for fabrication, inspection, heat treatment, painting and insulation when those activities are required. CNC coordinates those interfaces and performs the field installation assigned to its scope.
Planning for an operating plant
Industrial piping work must account for tie-ins, isolation, access, lifting, material control and nearby operations. CNC reviews line lists, drawings, specifications, materials, test boundaries and handback requirements before defining the field sequence. The exact engineering and quality documentation depend on the service, code, owner and jurisdiction stated in the project package.
Where piping connects to vessels or exchangers, CNC can review boilermaking interfaces. Equipment connections may also require millwright services, while supports and access can involve structural steel. Larger tie-in programs can be integrated into plant shutdowns.

Documented piping experience
CNC’s legacy portfolio identifies multiple piping assignments at Valero, FRP piping supply and installation at Domtar, a gas-line scope associated with the Jacques Cartier Bridge, and piping installation at Suncor. These examples demonstrate work across refinery, industrial and infrastructure environments. Public use of client names, values, photographs and detailed outcomes requires final approval.
Prepare a piping RFQ
Provide piping and instrumentation diagrams, isometrics, line lists, specifications, material classes, design conditions, tie-in list, support details, test packages and inspection requirements. Also identify shutdown windows, access, isolation responsibilities, hazardous-area constraints, material supply and the required turnover records.
