Industrial Piping Services for Process Facilities

CNC Mechanical provides industrial piping services for operating plants and project sites across Quebec and Ontario. Its documented capabilities include process and service piping installation, instrumentation and hydraulic tubing, pipe supports, and hydrostatic or pneumatic testing within an approved project plan.

The piping team combines estimating and field installation experience with coordination across other mechanical trades. CNC defines responsibilities at the RFQ stage so that engineering, material supply, fabrication, examination, testing, coatings, insulation and final acceptance are assigned to the correct party.

Piping capabilities organized by work package

CNC’s industrial piping services include:

CNC’s documented model uses subcontractors for fabrication, inspection, heat treatment, painting and insulation when those activities are required. CNC coordinates those interfaces and performs the field installation assigned to its scope.

Planning for an operating plant

Industrial piping work must account for tie-ins, isolation, access, lifting, material control and nearby operations. CNC reviews line lists, drawings, specifications, materials, test boundaries and handback requirements before defining the field sequence. The exact engineering and quality documentation depend on the service, code, owner and jurisdiction stated in the project package.

Where piping connects to vessels or exchangers, CNC can review boilermaking interfaces. Equipment connections may also require millwright services, while supports and access can involve structural steel. Larger tie-in programs can be integrated into plant shutdowns.

Documented piping experience

CNC’s legacy portfolio identifies multiple piping assignments at Valero, FRP piping supply and installation at Domtar, a gas-line scope associated with the Jacques Cartier Bridge, and piping installation at Suncor. These examples demonstrate work across refinery, industrial and infrastructure environments. Public use of client names, values, photographs and detailed outcomes requires final approval.

Prepare a piping RFQ

Provide piping and instrumentation diagrams, isometrics, line lists, specifications, material classes, design conditions, tie-in list, support details, test packages and inspection requirements. Also identify shutdown windows, access, isolation responsibilities, hazardous-area constraints, material supply and the required turnover records.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What industrial piping work does CNC perform?

CNC documents process and service piping installation, supports, instrumentation and hydraulic tubing, plus hydrostatic and pneumatic testing when specified.

Does CNC fabricate pipe in-house?

Fabrication is not represented as CNC self-performed. CNC’s documented delivery model coordinates fabrication and other specialist activities through project subcontractors, then performs its assigned field installation.

Can CNC coordinate piping with other trades?

Yes. Piping interfaces can be reviewed with boilermaking, millwright, structural steel and shutdown work.

What should be included in a piping RFQ?

Send drawings, line and tie-in lists, specifications, materials, design conditions, test requirements, supports, schedule, access and turnover expectations.
